Constant-force spring PPD D25-40 0,3x15x7 IEK

Description

The PPD springs are designed for connection of grounding bar to metal sheath and armor bands of cables. They allow for quick and reliable installation of grounding wire to lead or aluminum cable sheath, avoiding possible risk of insulation damage under sheath when using grade "A" brazing alloy. The springs ensure constant radial pressing force after completion of mounting. They are made from high-quality stainless steel AISI 301 with high content of chromium and nickel. Material: stainless steel AISI 301 (15H17N7). Material properties: high plasticity, corrosion resistance. Number of coils: 7 pcs.

  • Life time:

    30 years

  • Warranty:

    3 years

Advantages

  • Allow to make fast and reliable installation of the grounding wire on a lead or aluminum cable sheath without the use of brazing technology.
  • Installation of springs does not require special tools.
  • Prevent the possible risk of damage to the insulation under the cable sheath when using refractory brazing.
  • Provide a constant radial pressure after installation.
