Description
The bolted terminals and sleeves, like compression terminals and sleeves, are designed for termination of conductors. However they can be fixed without use of expensive equipment. A torque wrench is sufficient. Moreover, their unquestionable advantage is a capability to be used for termination and connection of both copper and aluminum conductors. All products have conductivity according to GOST 17441-84.

Advantages
- In HS connectors, the breakaway bolts are located in different planes at an angle of 180° to each other. In comparison with the location of the bolts on one side, the clamping of the cable core on different sides provides a more secure fixation of the conductor and increases the spot of electrical contact. Depending on the cross section of the vein, the number of bolts varies from 5 to 10.
- The connectors have the HS interior design partition, which serves as oil stopper for cores of cables with paper insulation soaked with oil.
- All bolted terminals and connectors are marked indicating the allowable cable cross sections and manufacturer's code.
Design Features
The design of bolts has several bores, such as shear necks, whereby the head shear occurs flush with or below the surface of the tip.
Each bolted connector is suitable for various sizes and designed for a range of cable cross sections.
